Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text size is 12-point font, Times New Roman and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
The authors can avail the facility to submit the papers through direct email at editor@ieltlj.com or submit their research papers through website in paper submission page where author can fill the submission form for research paper. Click here to Submit Paper
After submission, the peer review process will take 15-20 business days. If the research paper is accepted for publication then author will receive online acceptance letter.
Authors are requested to follow the Author’s Guidelines strictly as mentioned below. The Journal reserves all the rights to accept/reject the submission in the event of irregularities against guidelines:
- The research paper or article must be plagiarism free and original.
- The research paper sent for publication should be unpublished. It should not have been published elsewhere, or be under review for any other journal.
- IELTLJ is restricted to the disciplines of ELT and Literature, therefore, a paper written in other subject areas will not be accepted.
Research Paper Page Formatting
- The paper should only be in the font “Times New Roman”.
- Font size should be 12 points.
- Title should not have any special formatting like bold or italics.
- Title’s alignment should be Center Aligned. The size of the font should be 16 points.
- Author name should be Left Aligned.
- Abstract heading should be Center Aligned.
- All paragraphs’ first line should be indented to 0.5 inch from the left margin. Paragraph of Abstract should have normal alignment without any indent.
- Page Margin should be 1-inch on the top, bottom, left and right side.
- Works Cited or Reference should have been on the separate page at the end of the manuscript.
- Works Cited or Reference heading should be Center aligned.
- If a reference line goes to the second line then it shouldhave an
indentation of 0.5 inch margin without pressing any enterbutton.
- Do not make any heading Bold or Italics.
Basic Rules for Writing Works Cited and Reference
- Author’s Last name, First name then middle name (if any). Personal Author(s), editor(s), corporate author, director.
- Title of source. Book Title, Article Title, Chapter Title, The Title of a TV episode, Film Title.
- Title of the container, Book title, journal title, title of TV series.
- If Details automatically goes to the next line then second line must be indented to 0.5. Please do not indent with spacing. Adjust it with Ruler Tabs.
- Use the date most pertinent to you. Full dates are given in this format: 22 Aug, 2020
- Page Number(s), Web Address, DOI, stable URL, time on a recording, DVD Disc Number.
- Bibliographic styles should be in MLA style. Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa).
